new work space! finally got my room sorted after moving so i have somewhere to work. also the crochet has been comin along nicely, hoping to finish this throw sometime in the next 3 years (ha) 12 squares down a hell of a lot to go!

a bit of a 'be or guest' from beauty and the beast moment, as i love breakfast so much. if all my meals were breakfast i would be happy... (apart from maybe the pancakes, too stodgy)

'diary' - illustration friday

clearing out my room a few weeks ago i found my '18 box', which is full of stuff i kept when i was just about to turn 18. gig tickets, train tickets, birthday cards, badges, fancy dress stuff, photos, cinema tickets... it made me so happy and nostalgic. i'm sure if i keep it and find it again when i'm a lot older i'll smile even more.

crochet update: ninja!

after many failed attempts i have finally finished a ninja! (requested by the boyfriend)
pattern is from - "Creepy Cute Crochet" by Christen Haden, great book that i highly recommend!

'giant' - illustration friday

this weeks IF entry from moi is a more sober one.
bullies and generally nasty people are purely trying to make themselves feel big... i see it everyday people being intimidated and made to feel small and it makes me incredibly angry, particularly as my little sis is currently the subject of bullying. if i catch the kids responsible so help me!

my first attempt (in white) was a little uneven, but think i'm slowly getting it!

maltese cats

went to malta at the beginning of the month, and started sketching all the local cats that wander around. i liked them so much i made some proper pics of them. (strange i go all the way to malta and end up drawing cats when i have 2 at home?)

found this weeks subject difficult, though i put that down to the fact my heads all over the place at the moment. however, voila! satellite bear...
